But, chapter 328, “Always,” ended up being disappointing. We love to watch Asta fight. But, Asta is not the One Punch Man. We humans don’t like to beat around the bush. But, anime fights are something that does not look good if it is straight to the point. And Black Clover Chapter 328 was straight to the point, yet not satisfying for the fans.
There were lots of things that were revealed in this chapter of the Spade Kingdom Raid Arc. Lots of things are getting clear as crystal. Yet, fans might not like what is to come in the future. We think we already know what might happen in the future but still hope that it is not true. We are just not ready for this kind of disappointment. The only good thing is that this chapter is fifteen pages long, and there will be no break next week.

Asta Slaying Lucifero Easily Was Disappointing For Black Clover Fans
Lucifero was one of the three rulers of the underworld and was the highest-ranking devil connected to the Tree of Qliphoth. He was the King of Devils. Doesn’t that mean he was supposed to be super strong? All this time, fans were getting hyped to watch some unexpected mind-blowing fight scenes. The fight was unexpectedly short and mind-blowingly unsatisfying. At the last moment, the way Asta powered up by using True Devil Union and slayed Lucifero in one go was not something we were expecting to see.
The manga artist Yuki Tabata returned after a break with this chapter 328. Fans were hoping to get some fire. But, the sudden power-up of Asta and the quick death of Lucifero were very disappointing.

Secrets Revealed During The Fight
Asta was supposed to grow up without his mother? There exist no such mother who can live without her child. That is the kind of love mothers have for their children. But, there also exists a kind of mother’s love that gives them the strength to stay away from their children. Licita chose to stay away from Asta out of love. If she did not stay away, we could never have gotten to see the Asta we are watching today. The memories revealed Licita saying that she had to be away from her son to save him. He could not have survived if she had been anywhere near him.
We are one more step closer to knowing why Asta was born without mana. We know it has something to do with his mother, but the real reason is yet to be revealed. Lucifero already knows how Asta is related to Licita. Smells like a mystery. He had seen Licita in the past, and identified Asta to be related to him by the will in their eyes. However, is there something else brewing behind what seems to be going on? Is this really how Lucifero was supposed to go down?
What To Expect In The Future?
Even though the fight was disappointing, there might be a lot hidden. What if Lucifero is not dead yet? How can a high-level devil king die with that much ease? To prove that, you must have noticed that Lucifero’s body did not get disintegrated after getting slain by Asta. Does not that mean it is still not over yet? Even though Asta sliced Lucifero right through where his heart is supposed to be, he didn’t get disintegrated. It is like we were supposed to get disappointed in this fight. The fight went down calmly. The reason might be because it is always calm right before a huge storm. A lot is yet to happen.
There’s also been a lot of discussions about Lucifero’s heart being inside Yami’s body. Probably the side effects of Morris’ experiment on the Qliphoth Channel. But, we also saw Lucifero and Yami trying to kill each other. Does that mean that they are not aware of the situation they are in? If this speculation is true, then does that mean to kill Lucifero for real, Yami has to die too?
We hope this is just speculation. We are not ready for this to happen for real.
