As stated, he did not die simply because of his will to live. In doing so, he transformed into his strongest ever form, the Ultra Instinct. This form of Goku is indeed a God-form. We all have seen what he is capable of when in Ultra Instinct mode.
Giorno Giovanna
The strongest character from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure makes the cut. Giorno is the protagonist from part five of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Giorno can easily use the Gold Experience stand. This allows him to create and manipulate life as he wants. The upgraded version of the Gold experience is the Gold Experience Requiem. Gold Experience Requiem is created when Gold Experience is pierced by Stand Arrow. Nothing can hit Giorno in this state. He can also levitate and reverse any action done against him.
If you go and attack him, it will be reverted to you. Basically, Giorno cannot take any damage when using this form. Moreover, the person killed by Gold Experience Requiem never arrives at the truth. Thus they are entrapped in a loop of death.
Altair
No, I am not talking about Altair from Assassin’s Creed but from Re: Creators. Altair can easily surpass anyone she likes. Her power is so ridiculous that even Naruto cannot stand against her. She has infinite power and abilities. Creation is also one of her abilities, using which she can create anything, even worlds. Another ability of hers is the one that makes her almost immortal. It is metagaming. This power allows her to become whatever she wants. If anything about her is written, for example, if I write in this article that Altair becomes more powerful than Eren Yeager, she will become so. She erases anyone from existence however she likes and does not sustain any damage at all.

Yes, Dragon Ball fans, Zeno will be on this list. Every Dragon Ball fan knows well how powerful Zeno is. This child-like character is the strongest in the Dragon Ball universe, yes, even stronger than Goku. Zeno is the king of all the universe. Zeno does not have much physical prowess, this is the reason I cannot put him as the strongest anime character. This cute-looking god plays with the universes and different realities as if they are toys. Just for the sake of his entertainment, he has destroyed several realities and universes. No character can stand against this man. If destroying realities was not enough, he can even create new ones as he wants to.
Saitama
No, he is not the strongest anime character. You must have a lot of sites saying that Saitama is indeed the strongest character, but I know many other characters stronger than the One Punch Man. Saitama used to be a normal human, just like everyone else. One day, he decided to become a superhero and started his training. Three years later, we got the bald cape-wearing superhero as we know him today. He trained so much that his hair started vanishing from his head.
The result of his training- he can defeat anyone with just one punch. No one can harm him. We have seen several enemies putting Genos at the edge. While Genos has struggled against those enemies, all it took Saitama is a single punch to knock them down.
Still, all this is not enough for us to believe that this man is the strongest anime character

This cute-looking god is one of the strongest anime characters, and I bet you would not have hoped to see him here. The limits of his powers, you ask- he won a war without even participating in it. So far, no particular weakness of Tet has been shown. He is also the most intelligent person in the No Game No Life universe. If anyone wants to beat this god, they will have to defeat him in a game of chess. Being the most intelligent person, you cannot defeat him easily at all.
Lain Iwakura
Lain Iwakura is another literal goddess. The limits of her powers are unknown. She can bend the universe as she likes it. At the end of the series, her power is insurmountable for most of the anime characters. She becomes a literal god, existing everywhere at all times. She knows what is happening where. She truly becomes a force of nature, allowing her to be of the godly status. A character as strong as hers can only be matched by someone like Zeno.

Rimuru is a demon lord, which alone makes him very powerful. But, there are many more things that make Rimuru the strongest ever.
Mind acceleration is a technique using which Rimuru can increase the speed of his mind by more than a million times. Synthesize- allows our demon lord to transform any two things into one.
