If cars have fascinated you and if you are on the lookout for a fun yet informational series that is literally all about cars, then we cannot recommend this British reality series, Wheelers Dealers, enough to you. Currently airing its eighteenth season, the show has been releasing new seasons since 2003.
Over the seasons, we witness car experts talk excitedly about cars while fixing abandoned or broken cars with the hope of restoring them to a better condition to eventually sell them to a new owner. It is amazing to see car enthusiasts work their magic and talk about cars as if they are real beings; it just goes on to show how passionate they are about their work.
The show is presented by a big-time car enthusiast and an ex-dealer, Mike Brewer, who has been with the show since its start. From season one to thirteen, Ed China accompanied Mike but was eventually replaced by Ant Anstead, who stayed with the show till its sixteenth season.
From season seventeen to the one that is currently airing, mechanic Marc Priestley joined the show alongside Mike. The show, much loved by car people, has transformed some classic vintage cars, restoring them on a budget for the new owners.
The show is a British reality series, but its popularity grew enough for Mike and his mechanic friends to not just travel the entirety of Europe but also to get cars transported from America to their garage in the UK for fixing and restoration.
Eventually, the show got big enough for the crew to open up a brand new garage situation in California for better episodes and easy work. Still ongoing, the show is in the middle of airing its eighteenth season, so here is all you need to know about it.
Wheelers Dealers Season 18 Episode 19: The Plot
For this season, our frontman car dealer Mike Brewer, along with the experienced mechanic Ant Anstead, have set up shop in Los Angeles. The duo has set to once again in hopes of finding iconic cars in conditions we would not even think of fixing.
But they are here to do the impossible and take on hard challenges, and of course, selling restored classic cars for a profit is not their first rodeo. With so much experience gained over the years, Mike finds cars that could have the potential to bring them a profit with ease now.
Once the car is acquired, it gets passed to our mechanic, who seems to have the Midas touch, bringing cars to life and tackling everything, including bare metal re-sprays and switching up the gearbox. He does it all to bring back the car’s original grace and glory.
The eighteenth episode had an Alfa Romeo GTV, which needed fixing for a road trip in Italy. There was no way Ant would have failed at the job. Maintaining his streak of success, the car seemed to have performed brilliantly, leaving us excited for what the next episode would hold.
