Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has received Hotfix 14.1, bringing a collection of weapon balancing changes and bug fixes to the game’s latest build. The August 11 update focuses particularly on four Heroic weapons, giving players stronger options across different combat situations.
According to the official Focus Entertainment patch notes, the Heroic Stalker Bolt Rifle now requires only three body shots instead of four to trigger its Auspex Scan. Its scan radius has also increased from 8 to 10 meters, making the weapon’s utility more effective during combat.
The Heroic Combi-Flamer has received several improvements. Its flamer barrel now charges faster, while the bolter barrel deals 10% more damage. More importantly, flamer ammunition can once again be replenished using Ammo Crates.
The Heroic Combi-Melta also regains Ammo Crate replenishment for its melta ammunition. Meanwhile, the Heroic Power Fist can now fire a melta blast after a single charge while using its hold stance, with a slight damage increase for the blast following a delayed light attack.

The update also makes changes to the Scarab Occult Terminator Sorcerer. Its follow-up double-beam attack now has a longer delay, giving players more time to react to the game’s slower dodge-roll animations. Its teleport ability has also received a significant damage reduction.
Several technical and progression issues have been addressed as well. The patch fixes incorrectly swapped radiuses for the Squad Unity and Split Up Battlefield Conditions, as well as an issue with Tactical’s Kraken Penetrator Rounds perk granting penetration to projectile-based weapons.
Siege Mode receives additional attention, with fixes for Ordeal progression when joining games already underway and weekly Ordeal progress not being counted correctly. Focus Entertainment has also resolved several Steam Workshop server-side mod issues and crash-related problems.
Hotfix 14.1 is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, giving Space Marine 2 players another round of weapon balancing and stability improvements.
