In a major cliffhanger that concluded the second season, Nathan solved the murder and discovered that his friend David Choak from Lakeview was the person who had killed him.
Nathan then embarked on a new mission with Nora, joining her in a vicious attempt to manipulate the upcoming elections. A series of circumstances compelled Nathan to download himself into a body with little time remaining. For this reason, the final episode of the second season is titled “Download.”
In light of everything mentioned above, what can we expect from the third season, and what lies ahead for the remaining characters? When the show debuted, we were allowed to conjecture about what the conclusion of the second season would mean going forward and how precisely the second season of the show sets up the impending third season.
Recap
“Download Doctor” begins just after the conclusion of Episode 3. All of Nathan’s friends and family panic as he starts to bleed from his nose, trying to stop it immediately. Nathan is urged by Nora to visit the physician who first developed this technology.
While traveling, Nathan is concerned about being recognized in public, so Mauricio, Viv’s boyfriend, provides another alternative. They ride along in a crate that is fastened to a drone in order to meet with Ari Kapoor, the renowned inventor who created Nathan’s current downloaded, real-life body. Nathan and Nora journey to San Francisco.
Nathan requests that they conceal his download status while they are en route to the doctor. Nora agrees. Then Aleesha, who just so happens to be traveling the same route, calls her. Aleesha is off to a conference in San Francisco with her boss, Lucy.
But Nora tells a falsehood when she says she’s back in Los Angeles. Luke learns from the other subplots that veterans’ benefits are being reduced, and in order to pay for his expenses, he needs to find employment in Lakeview. He accepts a job in the gray area, while Ingrid and her new partner, Nathan, plan to spend a day off together and venture dangerously to the original Lakeview.
The replica of Nathan brings Ingrid to this haunting, prehistoric version of Lakeview that is totally off the grid using a trick that Luke taught him. They are met by an unsettling concierge who has terrible malfunctions when they arrive.
Then, Tinsley receives word that Nathan has once again logged out of the system. She begins to restore yet another backup copy out of panic. Entering Dr. Kapoor’s house under false pretenses, Nora and Nathan tell him they have been attacked. Nathan receives a thorough body scan from the doctor, who determines that the patient is well. Then Nora says, quite bluntly, that Nathan is a download.

Ingrid and her replica of Nathan will stay close in Lakeview, but Nora could sabotage their budding friendship by befriending the backup replica herself. In the actual world, Nora and Holden will collaborate to destroy Freeyond.
Nathan is going to be concerned that Nora is using his backup copy to cheat on him.
He’ll begin to feel jealous of her new connection and make some sort of effort to face his own issues. It’s possible that Ivan took David Choak’s hard disk. He intends to meet with Nathan and Nora in the hopes of assisting them in finally defeating Freeyond.
