Apple TV+’s upcoming movie Ghosted is coming next year! The shooting officially began this year on the 14th of February and has a stellar cast on board. The cast includes Marvel fame, Chris Evans, along with his Marvel co-star Scarlett Johansson. Unfortunately, Scar Jo couldn’t be part of it due to shooting clashes. So, replacing her, we have another beautiful actress, Ana De Armas on board. Chris Evans and Ana De Armas have worked together on Knives Out. So it’s a Knives Out reunion!
Ghosted is an action-adventure romantic film helmed by Dexter Fetcher. Dexter is an actor/director known for his work in Sherlock Holmes 3, Bohemian Rhapsody, and more.
Knives Out fans are excited to see the pair on screen again, and so are the rest. Their chemistry is unbeatable, and rumors were flying about these two dating IRL. But unfortunately, it has been denied. Well, at least we’ll get to witness their on-screen chemistry!

It’s too soon to tell anything about Ghosted yet. We know that it’s a romantic action-adventure film. And fans will see Chris Evans in a new avatar. Also, the concept is rumored to be different from any other romantic action film.
Scarlette Johansson was to star opposite Evans, but she dropped off, and the reason is uncertain. Speculations say that this happened amidst the Disney lawsuit fiasco. Scar jo allegedly filed a lawsuit against Disney plus over some contract breach in the release of Black Widow. Did Scar Jo drop out of this movie or did the makers let her go? Nothing is specified as of yet!
The good news is that Knives Out fame Ana De Armas has already joined the cast and begun shooting. A film to look forward to! produced by Skydance Media, written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. You might not know Rhett Reese, but you must have heard of Deadpool, a superhero from the Marvel franchise. He is the writer of all the Deadpool movies released. So, rest assured that this movie is in good hands.
Other upcoming projects of the cast are also pretty exciting. Evans has a June 2022 release animated movie Lightyear, a spin-off movie of Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story. Apart from that, he is starring opposite The rock in a Holiday movie, Red One, and Scar Jo in an untitled movie. While Ana De Armas has garnered quite a fame through Knives Out and No Time to Die. Her upcoming projects include one with Evans called The Gray Man, which will be released soon on Netflix!

Apple+ TV is another streaming platform similar to Netflix. But Apple+ Tv is owned and operated by Apple Inc.
The perks of this platform are that users can enjoy original shows and movies called the Apple originals. Ghosted is an upcoming addition to the Apple Original family. Apart from that, we have ‘The Morning Show’ starring Friends fame Jennifer Anniston and Reese Witherspoon. Then there is Jason Mamoa’s sci-fi drama ‘See’ and the award-winning movie CODA.

There is been a constant debate about which streaming platform is better. Netflix provides a wide range of content, whereas Apple has quality original content. Then again, Apple has a less expensive subscription price than Netflix. But of course, Apple TV is more recent, so it has made better improvements. Like the number of users on Netflix is four, and for Apple, it’s five. Another difference is the languages shows are available in, Apple has multiple languages and subtitles as compared to Netflix. It is here and there, but at the end of the day, both are entertainment platforms. And we are all about entertainment!
Ghosted has no release date yet, but the tentative period is sometime next year. Knives Out, The Gray Man, and now with Ghosted, Evans, and Armas are ready to set ablaze fans’ hearts with their chemistry. If you love a good high-concept romantic action movie, don’t miss out on Ghosted!
