MOAs, assemble! On 6th April 2022, Big Hit Entertainment representatives officially made a statement to the Korean news company Newsen that their boy group Tomorrow X Together, aka TXT, is preparing for a comeback that will be officially released in early May. This comeback would mark the TXT members officially resuming their group activities in South Korea after about nine months since their release “The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE” back in August 2021. “The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE” was a repackaging of their May 2021 album “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE”. Hence, MOAs are very excited for the 2022 TXT comeback so that they can watch their favorite boys, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Soobin, Yeonjun, and Huening Kai, back in action.
HYBE has been on a roll this year, with the roll-out of the debut teasers of their much-anticipated girl group LE SSERAFIM. Also, of course, BTS has been making waves ever since their appearance at the recent Grammys, with news and rumors coming out about the various potential collaborations with the western celebrities they met. Tomorrow X Together may have an ‘X’ in their name, but they have made a reputation in their homeland South Korea, having a discography that stimulates the multifaceted sentiments of Gen Z every time a new album of theirs comes out.
What To Expect From TXT Comeback 2022?
Before the announcement of the 2022 TXT comeback by Big Hit, the band successfully hosted a face-to-face fan meeting event with MOAs in South Korea with the event ‘2022 TOMORROW X TOGETHER FANLIVE MOA X TOGETHER’ on 5th March 2022. After their 2022 comeback, it is expected that they will be attending more international concerts and shows.
Tomorrow X Together is confirmed to appear in the ‘SUMMER SONIC 2022’ Music Festival that is scheduled for August 2022. The ‘SUMMER SONIC 2022’ is Japan’s largest music festival. Since Tomorrow X Together is slowly receiving more popularity with the general (non K-pop listening) public and fierce K-pop stans alike, anticipation is high to see what kind of title track they come out with to further solidify themselves in the Hallyu lore.

TXT’s Success And Awards In 2021
Tomorrow x Together had a very musically successful year in 2021. Both of their releases, “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” and “The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE,” were met with positive reactions from the Korean general public as well as racked up many positive reviews from Western music critics. Their album “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” made it to Number 38 on the prestigious NME’s year-end list of “The 50 Best Albums of 2021”. Moreover, the repackage “The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE” made it onto the U.S. magazine Rolling Stone’s list of “The 50 Best Albums of 2021” as well! TxT was the only K-pop group whose albums made it onto those lists, making MOAs all over the world very proud.
This is not where it stops, though! Tomorrow x Together grabbed the much-coveted first position on Billboard’s annual “25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2021: Critics’ Picks” list with their song ‘0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)’, where they were praised for their “rawest vocal performance till date”. Additionally, Tomorrow x Together also made their presence known in the Billboard year-end charts for 2021, like “Billboard 200”, where they secured spots in seven categories.

Meanwhile, Tomorrow x Together won in the ‘New Artist of the Year’ and ‘Best 3 New Artists’ categories in the 2021 Japan Gold Disc Awards last year.
TXT also amassed a considerable international fanbase, even including non-fans and non-listeners of K-pop, when their song ‘Anti-Romantic‘ from the album ‘The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE’ became viral on TikTok. Meanwhile, before the 2022 TXT comeback, the members also held a special meta-verse Online Sports Event with MOAs, in which 100 lucky MOAs were selected amongst about 7,000 participants from 69 countries to engage in fun online games with the TXT members.
