Let us have a deeper look at the minisode 2 and look out for things you might have missed out on.
TXT Comeback: “Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” and “Good Boy Gone Bad”
We all know TXT and their obsession with unique names for their albums and long title track names and this minisode is no exception. Let us go through each song of the minisode and see what impact it has on the fans.
The title track “Good Boy Gone Bad” has even surpassed our expectations. Yeonjun has been credited for writing the rap part of this song. The song has a dark and rock vibe and when they sang the part- Good boys gone bad, it just made all the fans addicted to the song. The song is a follow-up to the love which was shown in their previous music video “0X1= LO$ER=LO♡ER”. But here they have tried to show the anger and loss after losing their first love. The song is also called the ‘Gen Z break-up song’. Their acting skills have become more polished. Even though they had difficulty expressing immense anger during filming, as mentioned by them, still they did a fantastic job portraying the emotions.
“Opening Sequence” hit us in the guts. The song is packed with pain and has layers of meanings. This song has contributions from Hueningkai and Taehyun. The reason why it is receiving so much love is that everyone can relate so much to the song and even though it is painful, still it serves as a comfort to all the broken people out there.
“Trust Fund Baby” is that song that is giving us similar vibes to “Anti-Romantic” but it has its own flavor mixed with soothing heavenly vocals and a bit of pain. The song is a pop ballad that contains a distrustful attitude about the world which is so cruel that you can’t be in love when you are poor. If you listen to music while studying or sleeping, this can definitely be the go-to song for your sleep or study playlist, we can assure you that. And how can we expect any less when both Taehyun and Yeonjun have contributed to the song.
“Thursday’s Child Has Far To Go” is a song that fills you with nostalgic feelings. It has a charm of its own that draws us to hear the song continuously on a loop that turns the corners of our lips without us knowing. And well, well, our Beomgyu co-produced the song, so can we even expect any less from the talented artist?
“Lonely Boy” is here to continue the thread of the painful yet beautiful songs. The song again has contributions from Yeonjun and Hueningkai worked on the beautiful lyrics. After “Good Boy Gone Bad” here is another song with painful vibes. We recommend you to be prepared with tissues, as this song might make you sweat your eyes. We warned you.
To sum up, the “Minisode2: Thursday’s Child” is definitely filled with bop songs. If we are to describe it in a few words, we can say that it is filled with beauty, pain, darkness, and all in all, packed with great musicality and discography. Their comeback has blown everyone’s minds and we cannot wait for their live performances and watch their choreography.
