6. Be together by BTOB
South Korean K-pop music group BTOB, which also emerged in 2012, was all prepared in early February to make its swing back since members Yook Sungjae and Hyunsik finished the necessary military duty the year before. The record was the first time the group had released an album including all six members in over four years.
There are thirteen tracks on the album. After its release on February 21 earlier this year, the album by BTOB was able to sell nearly 56.9k copies last month. ‘Be Together’ not only almost doubled the first-week revenues to BTOB’s earlier albums including ‘4U: OUTSIDE’ which sold 59,250 copies in its first week, perhaps it also set the group’s new personal best of 91,207 established by their 2018 special album ‘HOUR MOMENT’.
5. Young Luv.com by STAYC
STAYC’s second mini-album is called Young Luv.com. It was released on February 21, 2022, with the title track ‘Run2U’ as the album’s first single. This album demonstrates that wonderful music may be written without going overboard with lyrics. All you need to know is how to really compose a good song.
The ability of these girls to perform a song with a perfect balance of turning a sad song into a happy one reflects their capacity to be amazing K-pop stars. STAYC’s album, which was dropped on February 21, 2022, sold 66.2 thousand copies in February. Fans were perfectly content by their February reappearance following the launch of their debut mini-album ‘STEREOTYPE,’ which was released in September 2021.
4. The Road: Winter for spring by Super Junior
The album, as the title indicates, arrived as a blooming fresh springtime amongst Super Junior admirers as well. The band’s reputation stems from each member’s distinct voice. It seems like spring when they sing together because their harmony is so warm and wonderful. The recently released album was on February 28, 2022, and 70.7k copies were taken off almost immediately thus the numbers mark for the month of February.
Siwon, Leeteuk, Ryeowook, Donghae, Heechul, Yesung, Kyuhyun, Eunhyuk, and Shindong performed a group song for the special single. ‘The Road: Winter for Spring’ follows SUPER JUNIOR’s normal 10th album, ‘The Renaissance,’ which was released in March last year. Following their best-selling single ‘Sorry, Sorry’ in 2009, which was the title song of SUPER JUNIOR’s most critically adored album, ‘Sorry, Sorry,’ the group gained worldwide prominence.
3. INVU by Taeyeon
Taeyeon’s third studio album, INVU, is her third studio album. Taeyeon’s album, being released on valentine’s day this year, sold 95.1k copies in February. Envy is a hidden feeling that many of us encounter. It leads to feelings of inadequacy as a result of wishing for what others have. Taeyeon’s rawness breaks through this barrier like a daring arrow when she harnesses that passion in her song ‘INVU’.
She resembled Artemis, the goddess of the moon in Greek mythology, in the way she handled herself in the album. Her music exhibits a high feeling of beauty while also evoking a sorrowful environment.
2. Ad Mare by NMIXX
Their album was released on February 22, 2022. A bunch of all-stars capable of singing live with such poise while doing extravagant choreography. NMIXX IS MORE THAN JUST VISUALS; they are the true essence of a flawless and talented group, with each member standing out on their own.
From being on the headline with as the worst debut single ever. To being crazily liked by fans, the first release of NMIXX, ended up selling 175.7k copies pushing it to the second best-selling album of the month.
1. The Second Step: Chapter One by TREASURE
Each song on the album’s tracklist is exceptional in its own right. There is no comparison to it. Throughout, ‘Jikjin’ there seems to be a feeling that leaves you feeling very lively. ‘U’ is one of the few melodies that gets stuck in your mind and makes you feel like you’re dancing to the beat every time you hear it. Not only this another song, ‘It’s okay’ has got the devastating sensation yet going to make you feel as if you’re flying.
All of the tracks were particularly appealing and therefore appreciated by fans, helping the album stand out as the top on the rankings for the Best selling-K-pop album for February month. That very same record from TREASURE managed to sell 504.0k units whilst being released on February 15, 2022.
