Officially released under the name La CasaCasa de Papel in Spain, Money Heist is a crime drama series that is entirely based on two heists. A criminal mind named, The Professor hires eight people to carry out his ambitious plan, which is to heist millions of euros from the Royal Mint of Spain. They then print the robbed money in 11 days by remaining inside the Royal Mint. After 11 days, they were all set to carry out another plan which was to escape with gold from the Bank of Spain. During both heists, they had to deal with police forces and hostages. In this article, we will be talking about the top 10 episodes of Money Heist.
Money Heist has three seasons with a total of 41 episodes. The series has received an overwhelming response from all over the world and won several awards, including the International Emmy Award for the Best Drama Series. Imprudencias letales “Lethal Negligence”
This episode is the last one on the list of top ten episodes of Money Heist. Lethal Negligence is episode 2 of Season 1. In this episode, we saw robbers printing duplicates of money. In the end, because of some mess created by Rio, Rio and Tokyo ended up revealing their identities to police officers.
Se acabaron las máscaras (Masked No Longer)
In our list of top 10 episodes of Money Heist, episode 2 of season 1 ranked at number nine. In Masked no longer, we saw a fight between The Professor and Raquel’s ex-friend Alberto. After which, Alberto arrested him and brought him to prison. Eventually, in the prison, The Professor bit himself brutally to make Raquel believe that Alberto has bitten him. This led Raquel to leave The Professor.
Lo que se habla en la cama (Pillow Talk)
The episode Pillow Talk is at the number eight position among the top 10 episodes of Money Heist. In episode 9 of Volume 2, we saw that someone in the dress of a police officer had stolen the gold. After knowing about this, The Professor called the bank immediately. Later they realized that this was basically a fake police raid.
Una tradición familiar (A Family Tradition
A Family Tradition is episode 10 of volume 2 and at number 7 in the top 10 episodes of Money Heist. In this episode, we saw the Spanish economy was collapsing because of the gold robbery done by The Professor. In an agreement, The Professors said he would return all the gold when Tamayo will assure the public that everything is okay.
Instead of sending gold, he sent brass that had gold plates. And he gave two choices to Tamaya, which were to either keep the brass as that was enough to stabilize the Spanish economy and let them go or reveal the block and let the economy collapse. Therefore, in a press conference, Tamaya told the public that The Professor and his company had all been killed. At the end of the episode, The Professor and his group left the country in an army helicopter.

A Contrarreloj (Against the Clock)
Season 2, Episode 5, which is Against the Clock, is at number six. In this episode, the badge and bullet were taken away from Racquel when her senior officers got to know that Slava was the Professor. Taking the Angel’s Badge, she started looking out for the place where the Professor was hiding. After this scene, Angel came out of the coma.
¿Que hemos hecho? (What Have We Done?)
The fifth one is “What Have We Done?”. This is episode four of season 2, where Racquel performed a lie detector test on the Professor when he told her that he loves her, and that is the reason why he kept his identity hidden.
Ahead of the episode, Moscow told Denver that he left him and his mother (Moscow’s wife) because of her behavior as a drug addict. But Denver seems not to get impressed even a little bit after listening to all this.
Tokyo, because of the Professor, was now out of police custody. She helped in the money heist by riding her bicycle directly into the Royal Mint of pain, avoiding contact with police. Moscow helped her by opening the gate of the Mint.
Cuestión de eficacia (A Matter of Efficiency)
A Matter of Efficiency is the third episode of season three and ranked four on the list of top 10 episodes of Money Heist. In this episode, Racquel finally got to know that the professor was the Salva. The episode started with the promise that the Professor made to Rio that he will help free Toykyo from police custody. This made Rio join the group.
To find out if the Professor was Salva or not, Racquel made a plan by telling the professor that Angel had awakened from his coma. She thought this will bring Salva into the hospital to finish Angel off. But to check if this was correct or not, the professor visited the hospital in clown attire, where he found that Angel was still in a coma.
At the end of the episode, when Racquel saw some clown hair on his dress, she immediately knew that Salva was none other than the Professor itself.
El Que la sigue la consigue (Whoever Keeps Trying It, Gets It)
“Whoever Keep Trying It, Gets it” is the last episode of season 1 and acquired the third position in our list of top 10 episodes of Money Heist. In this episode, we saw the Professor killing Racquel’s mother, who had Alzheimer’s disease.
Just before his car accident, Angel left a voice message for Rcaquel, making her aware of the person who was involved in the money heist. But Racquel was not at home, her mother took that voice note and tried calling Racquel, but she did not answer. The professor wanted to kill Racquel’s mother because she got to know who was carrying out the money heist plan, which could create several problems for them.
But at last, we got to see that he did not kill her because of the fact that she had Alzheimer’s. He just deleted the note.

Bella Ciao (Bye Beautiful)
“Bye Beautiful” is the last episode of season 2. It ranked second in our top 10 episodes of Money Heist. The episode started when the robbery was going on inside the Royal Mint of Spain. While the professor was hiding in a place where he met Racquel, and there they kissed each other. Later she got caught while meeting Angel.
After a lot of interrogation, when Racquel did not tell them about The Professor, they charged her with several punishments, which meant she would lose her daughter’s custody. This led her to reveal the place.
Berlin alone fought with the police officers and took all the bullets while others were on the run. When the police actually visited the hiding place, they neither found the Professor nor any of his group members.
In the end, Racquel was clueless about the new hiding place of the Professor, but then she saw the postcard given by him. And from there, she got to know the location of the Professor, which was Palawan, Philippines.
Astray (La Deriva)
Episode 8 of Money Heist Season 3, which is Astray, falls on the top. The Episode started when Berlin was telling the Professor to live happily. Later, the Professor and Lisbon were on the run escaping from the police officers. They were talking on a walkie-talkie while hiding in different places. The Professor then called Palermo and told him to execute the second plan (Plan Alcatraz), where they would distract police forces from the forest issue.
Helsinki and Rio started digging, which created a sound of escaping. The police forces were waiting at the tunnels underneath with their weapons ready. After some moment, they went to the other side and found only the ferret, which made them think that they got tricked.
After all this, in the end, the Professor was under police custody, and Lisbon was safe and living. In the end, Sierra used a statement which was “The war has begun”, this was the indication of the arrival of Season 4.
