Tonikaku Kawaii Chapter 235 was released on April 30 and had a very long title, “I’m going to be sure to stress to all my children the importance of never ever neglecting their marriage ever,” which is kinda funny as the previous chapter had a one-word title. It shifted the attention from Tsukasa’s immortality powers and gave the viewers more from the other ship of Tonikaku Kawaii, which is Himari and Asimo.

Himari visits her father’s grave, and we get a little throwback to her past through her thoughts. Himari’s father passed away when she was just a child, so she doesn’t know much about him. Even though she was fairly young at the time of his passing, she still barely remembers his face. But this misfortune has made one thing clear for Himari, and that is the fact that human lives are fleetingly short.
Himari shakes shifts her attention to Asimo as she tries to spark a conversation with him by bringing up the topic of their entrance examination. Himari asks Asimo if he’s going to Utokyo, but she makes a very annoyed face while saying it, and so even though Asimo says Yes to her, he still feels like he’s doing something wrong. Asimo asks Himari if there’s anything wrong with him joining Utokyo.
Himari replies that it would be hard for her to stay with him if he goes to Utokyo, which startles Asimo. Himari asks Asimo if there are any other universities near Utokyo, and so Asimo recommends Gakushuin, but that is still hard to get into. Himari realizes there’s no helping it, and so she tells Asimo that their school lives are now about to end, which is kinda sad.
Asimo asks her the reason for thinking like that, and so she says that after school ends, she wouldn’t be able to roam around in a cute uniform. She also asks Asimo to take a good look if he wants to while she pulls up her skirt, which embarrasses Asimo even more, and he refuses.
Himari gives him one more chance, but Asimo still refuses, so Himari gets serious and asks Asimo always to remember one thing the days of youth don’t last forever. She thinks of how wonderful it would be if they could live their youth forever.
The focus shifts to Tsukasa, who is thinking about her superpower and how Nasa told her that she could even achieve world domination if she used that power for evil. She thinks too hard about how she felt when she first got this power when Aya approaches her. Tsukasa wonders why she’s here, and so Aya replies that she saw her too serious, so she decides to learn what’s up.
Tsukasa gets angry and tells her to worry about her entrance exams first. Aya makes a smug face and tells Tsukasa that it’s already the second trimester of her senior year, so there’s nothing more left to achieve for her with her extra time. She then shifts her attention to Tsukasa, and she asks her if she has any time to waste as she has found out that Nasa has recently been really busy with something. Aya tells Tsukasa that if Nasa focuses on something, then he forgets everything else, and so Tsukasa should be aware of it.
After Aya finishes scolding Tsukasa, she smiles and tells her to spend more of her days as a couple as it would make things better. Tsukasa gets amazed as she didn’t expect Aya to say something like that. Tsukasa goes home and thinks that Aya is correct even though Nasa is working for her sake only. She gets really lonely as soon as she gets home, so Nasa gives her a warm welcome, but she refuses to believe him and suggests they go on a date. Meanwhile, Himari also asks Asimo out to hang out.
