Sony might not have had a great amount of luck with Morbius recently. But the studios are still determined on creating their own Marvel Universe. Despite the fact, that there is a bigger one out there, Sony wants to have its own with Spider-Man Villains. So far, the movie series involving Venom has only had the success Sony needed. But now, even that comes to a close with Tom Hardy teasing that Venom 3 could be the last nail in the coffin for the character.
Tom Hardy came to announce Venom 3’s script through an Instagram story. Apart from Tom Hardy and Kelly Marcel’s names all over it, the story also saw Hardy drawing a venom over it. Tagged along with a sticker of the last dance. Thus teasing that the third film in the series may wrap Venom’s storyline.
At the time of this writing, there is no news on what the plot of the film may follow or whose returning for the film. Only Kelly Marcel and Tom Hardy’s names have a confirmation with this Instagram story now.
Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock and Venom were the last part of Spider-Man: No Way Home. A crossover with Marvel Studios. The crossover saw characters of Sony’s Marvel properties joining Tom Holland’s Spider-Man.
Although, Tom Hardy’s Venom didn’t have a huge role in the film but teased a lasting impact. We saw Eddie Brock and Venom taking note of the events of MCU. Before leaving the universe, Venom left a small part of his in the MCU. Thus teasing another possible crossover in the future.
If we are to speculate the plot for Venom 3, last time around, Venom wanted to introduce Eddie to billions of universe symbiotes have been too. We wonder if Sony is looking forward to using multiverse in Venom 3.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage started it all. Morbius had its own shades of the multiverse with MCU’s Vulture appearing. Now, Venom 3 may explore the multiverse in a bigger picture as it closes its trilogy moving on.
