The last episode of the first season was titled “Rain and Tears”, which opens up with Ichigo who was fighting against the Chimera Anima’s praying mantis, but at the same time she received a text message from Aoyama, and when she tries to reply her back, one of the Chimera Anima attacks her, causing her to drop her phone, which later got eaten by the Chimera.

As there also gonna be Ichigo’s date after some time in jeopardy, the rest of the team members of Mew Mew Band is trying to defeat all the remaining Chimera Anima as soon as possible. In her attempt to retrieve the Mew Aqua from Quiche, when Ichigo tries to confront Aliens, the Mew Aqua gets broke, however luckily, later it turns out that the one was fake.
This was when Quiche kisses Ichigo on her forehead and says that he was just trying to trick her, but at the same time the cacoon which was at the top of the Tokyo Tower starts to flake, but the Aliens start to harm the cacoon by firing off a beam, as a result of which, the cacoon gets hatched and proliferate a mist of purple color all over the sky.
Later it turns out that this purple mist is nothing but the Dust Wyvern, which spread on the periphery area and as a result caused pain to the affected people, but this was not enough to break the determination of the Mew Mews Band members, and they in unison leap into the air, in order to challenge not only the Chimera Anima but also the Aliens.
The scene changes to Aoyama, who was waiting for Ichigo, who hasn’t replied to his message yet, but at the same time Moe and Miwa show up and reveal that he should leave for the Tokyo Tower because of the incident that recently happen there. When Aoyama tries to call Ichigo again, there was not any response, because as we know, Ichigo’s phone got eaten by one of the Chimera Anima, but later with the help of ongoing news, Aoyama finds out that Ichigo along with the rest of the Mew Mews Band members is at the Tokyo Tower, fighting against the Aliens and Chimera Anima.
Back to Ichigo and the team, we see that although they somehow have managed to get closer to the Tokyo Tower when Ichigo launches an attack, it further spread the dust in the air.
This was when, Ryo with the help of Masha as a communication device, says that they should find the original Mew Aqua so that they can purify the toxic dust in the air.
