It is a sad day indeed as former Toddlers And Tiaras star Kailia Posey has passed away. She was just 16 years old. Posey’s mother, Marcy Posey Gatterman, has further confirmed the devastating news of her death on Facebook Monday. Gatterman also shared a photo of Posey dressed in the sparkly gown that she wore to prom last month.
She further penned down a small note as she lost her beautiful baby girl and asked everyone to give the family some privacy as they mourn the irreplaceable void of Kailia. While the cause of Posey’s death has not been confirmed yet, her mother has since updated her profile photo and cover image to honor her late daughter. She uploaded a photo of Posey as an angel for the profile image.
The Toddlers And Tiaras Alum Took Part In Various Pageants
The popular show TLC’s Toddlers & Tiaras had a successful run and aired from 2009 to 2013. The high schooler was just five years old when she made her appearance on one of the episodes of the reality series, as she went ahead and competed in the California Tropic Arizona pageant.
Posey soon gained fame as she became one of the series’ most recognizable faces as her reaction in an interview turned out to become a popular gif. Posted earlier announced that she will be participating in Miss Washington Teen USA in February.
Posey had recently taken to social media account as she was showing off her contortion skills. As her followers saw her final post on her primary account was a photo where she was seen posing in a colorful, red outfit and captioned the picture that said, “None of your concern”. The death announcement came as a huge shock as hours before confirming Posey’s death, her mother said the teenager would be soon graduating with honors next month.
