In Chapter 79 of To Not Die, we witness the themes of abuse and revenge. The Chapter opens with the extortionist manager Kim getting thrashed by Dajun. The egotistical manager hurls abuses toward Dajun, but he fights back. He manages to subdue Kim’s attack. A young sex worker witnesses the commotion. Manager Kim tried assaulting her, and it was Dajun who saved her. She thanks Dajun before he leaves.
The Chapter then shifts to the YJ Tower. It is a place where young women are prostitutes. The CEO of the prostitution agency is Lee Myungkwan. He is a filthy man who spews inappropriate slurs at the women. His foul presence makes the women uncomfortable in the room. Myungkwan then assesses each woman physically and passes lewd comments about them. His abuse is such that he beats and punishes a young woman for being slightly overweight. He denies the woman food and water and asks his managers to starve her. A painful sight!
The young woman who was present when Kim and Dajun fought is also in the room. When Myungkwan analyses her, he gets berserk. She is undeniably beautiful but has injuries from the previous night. Injuries are unacceptable at YJ Tower. A manager at YJ Tower sheds light on the preceding night’s events. The result is that CEO Myungkwan vows a vendetta against Dajun for thrashing manager Kim.
