Leticia faced her fear in the previous chapter. Readers are curious to find out how Zionian would heal Leticia’s wound in My Husband’s Mistress Chapter 13. Zionian took Leticia to the family cemetery of the Winchesters to show her what her loved ones had placed inside her coffin.
But Leticia was not sure about Zionian’s intention. Rangaro informed Zionian about the funerary customs of the Northland upon his inquiry. He mentioned that the people of Northland buried their loved ones along with their favorite things, like flowers, dresses, or family photos.
In some cases, they buried them with some kind of object that represented the deceased, like a doll. Zionian wanted Leticia to be curious about the content inside her coffin.
Unfortunately, Leticia did not want to know about it; she was hesitating to look inside the coffin. But Zionian still thought she needed to do that, and Leticia was surprised by the cheap coffin.
Zionian told Rangaro to open the coffin. Leticia was shocked after seeing what was inside the coffin because it was too low for even her enemy. As the coffin was filled with trash, Leticia thought it was horrible. Rangaro was shocked that someone could fill the coffins of their deceased relatives with trash.
Zionian informed Rangaro that it was Northland’s custom to bury their loved ones with something that represented them. Zionian told Leticia to look at the coffin and asked her if she missed living like that. Leticia ended up fainting after hearing that.

Rangaro believed that Leticia was again having horrible nightmares. Leticia woke up in Zionian’s bedroom, but she decided to leave since she did not want to disturb him. But Zionian told her to rest there and mentioned that she could get a fever if she did not recover properly from the shock.
Leticia was not sure what she did wrong; she confessed to Zionian that she loved them wholeheartedly and always did her best for them.
Leticia did not want to give up her marriage after everything they went through. Leticia was not sure what they thought about her deeds, but she was appalled that they considered her so useless to the point that they were even disrespecting her after her death.
Zionian convinced her that it was not her fault because he knew that Leticia always did her best and remained true to her feelings.
He told her she just picked the wrong person for herself, and Leticia told him she knew that well enough. Zionian was not sure what she meant.
Leticia told him she knew her and told her to give him his heart because of the same reason. Leticia felt naive for trusting someone who ran away from their relationship when they started having a hard time.
On top of it all, her partner even used to put everyone by his side at the end. She felt horrible for putting her blind faith in him, and she wished to kill herself just like Lianca did. Leticia considered her existence a mistake. She regretted being born.
Zionian realized that Rangaro was right and that Leticia was losing control over her mind and body. He felt that Leticia’s mental state was badly affected because of the shock method he used on her.
But he promised himself that he would fix all her wounds with time and took the responsibility to make her feel complete all over again.
