Synopsis
Long Hao Chen, our protagonist, is an eight-year-old boy who’s shown to undergo intense training to join the shrine hall of warriors. Set around 5590 years ago, the story of Throne of Seals revolves around the time when humanity was on the brink of extinction because of an attack by 70 demonic gods.
Hao Chen struggled long and hard to pass the test, but with his goal-driven mindset and support from his family, he successfully overcame this trial.
A Holy Resurrection Ceremony takes place under the leadership of Long Xing Yu. As per his instructions, Hao Chen follows through with the ceremony and unveils a secret- Long Hao Chen has special powers!
The ceremony revealed Hao Chen of having divine abilities unlike any other. With this newfound realization, everyone now placed their hopes of saving humanity on our main protagonist.
Now, carrying the burden of saving his people from the hands of the demon gods, Hao Chen takes the difficult road of sharpening his skills to face them in hopes of retaining peace in his land.
Recap of Throne of Seal Episode 41
Episode 41 of Throne of Seal came out on February 9, 2023. Lasting around 17 minutes, the episode begins with Long Hao Chen battling against Wang Yuanyuan. In this neck-to-neck battle, both are intent on having a place in the last 16 to stay in the championship.
During their intense battle, Hao Chen calculates Yuanyuan’s moves as both fight to win the championship. As the episode progresses, Hao Chen is seen to be on the winning end but is concerned for Yuanyuan.
Yuanyuan, however, clarifies there’s no need for Hao Chen’s concern and that instead, he should be worried about himself. She unleashes her Giant Spirit Shield on Haochen and simultaneously reveals her identity along with it. Yuanyuan was the descendant of the Giant Spirit God, that was thought to have been extinct long ago.
While it seemed like Yuanyuan had the upper hand, Haochen’s demon beast transformed and saved him last minute. Since Yuanyuan was still level 5, she could not accommodate the high level of power that the Shield had. The battle ends with Haochen gaining victory and becoming one of the last 16 in the championship.
