The Secret Girl Through The Filter is a new romance manga with an erotic undertone. The story is about an emotionless teenager named Hakobe Narumi(also referred to as Stoney because of his expressionless face) and his life as a normal school student. Hakobe always wanted to spend his school life in peace and just spend his free time playing games, watching anime and most importantly following his favourite Twitter model Efa.
Efa is a Twitter model who posts erotic pictures to maintain a following. Hakobe’s life takes a huge turn when one day he finds out that his classmate and school’s most famous girl Mitsuha Koto is actually the model Efa. Mitsuha, being scared of everyone learning her secret, approaches the loner Hakobe and eventually gets him to work with her by blackmailing him.
In the story so far, the interactions between Mitsuha and Hakobe have been insane as the temperature goes through the roof when these two come closer. The Secret Girl Through The Filter Chapter 3 “Photographic Evidence”: Recap
One night has passed since Hakobe learned about the true identity of Efa. Hakobe wakes up and gets to his housework but he still can’t stop thinking about what happened the day before, he couldn’t believe that Mitsuha is the Efa he admired so much. Hakobe wanted to live his school life quietly but now he knows that Efa goes to the same school as him and she even is in the same class as him and sits right next to him. He wonders if he used up his lifetime’s worth of luck in one single day.
Above everything, Efa even fell on top of him the other day and took a selfie of herself because she looked lewd. Hakobe tries to get a grip by saying that it’s just how the popular girls behave to make people interested in them. He then goes to his school like usual and finds that nothing has changed, Mitsuha still lives in her different world and doesn’t bother him even a bit but he still decides to keep his guard up to be prepared for anything that might happen.
Hakobe goes to the sewing room to distract himself by sewing a bib for his sister but he can’t get Mitsuha out of his mind. He wonders if Mitsuha won’t talk to him ever again and other stuff related to her causes his mind to get flooded by her thoughts which makes him lose focus from sewing resulting in a messy job. Just when Hakobe finally got a hold of his thoughts, Mitsuha came barging into the room while breathing heavily.
Hakobe feels weird thinking that the famous Mitsuha Koto was looking for him and Mitsuha gets angry saying that it was a pain to find him without making it obvious to everyone. Mitsuha gets straight to the point and asks Hakobe if he told anyone about her being Efa and he immediately says no. Mitsuha feels as if Hakobe is lying and so she tells him that she would be in huge trouble if anyone got to know about her.
Mitsuha’s skirt gets stuck in a nail and gets torn from the side. Hakobe, being an expert in household work, asks Mitsuha to take off her skirt so that he can sew it and she obviously denies it. Hakobe decides to sew her skirt while she’s wearing it which makes things even more embarrassing. Hakobe tries to strike up a conversation to lighten the mood but Mitsuha refuses to talk.
Mitsuha takes a picture of Hakobe so that she can hold it as leverage to keep him from telling anyone about Efa. Hakobe goes blank from the shock he just received. Mitsuha continues by saying that the photo she took earlier turned out to be really cute and got her many likes so she won’t be letting him go that easily now.
