What is The Plot of The Movie?
In an interview with Collider, Matt Reeves said that The Penguin will continue from where The Batman movie left off and will lead directly into The Batman: Part Two. At the end of The Batman, Riddler’s plan floods Gotham, causing chaos.
Carmine Falcone, the city’s crime boss, gets caught and killed by the Riddler, leaving a power vacuum in Gotham’s criminal world.
The Penguin is like a Scarface story, where Colin Farrell’s Penguin tries to take control of Gotham’s crime scene. Colin Farrell is the main star of the project, playing the character that the show is named after.
