Reality TV has become a huge part of our daily schedule now. One such show that has made it into several schedules is the entertaining reality show The Only Way Is Essex created by Tony Wood and Ruth Wrigley. The 10-part soap follows the lives of a group of people in the world of Essex. The latest season has been billed as the thirtieth season, but it’s actually the 29th season which got delayed, so don’t get confused.

The Only Way Is Essex: What Is Going On In This New Season?
It’s only the first episode, yet Amber and Dan, Essex’s very own Ken and Barbie, might be getting defiant, it seems. After a voice note makes the rounds insinuating Dan got a little too friendly with one of the most unexpected people, who is also one of Amber’s least favorite people, Dan quickly becomes a hot topic of conversation.
But, this is just the first episode which means even if the drama is over, it really isn’t over. Meanwhile, Lockie might be taking big steps. He brought his friend Jordan on the trip along with him. And that’s not it; he is also working on rebuilding his friendship with Yaz, his ex-girlfriend. Yaz, on the other hand, is leveling up as well.
She welcomes Junaid, her good friend and a well-known face in Essex too. Coming to Junaid, where do his allegiances lie when it comes to his old friends, namely Courtney, Chloe M, and Amber? What is he thinking? Amy and Billy might be hitting a rough patch after having several fights. Amy is testing the theory that ‘absence really makes the heart grow fonder’ or if it’s all just a lie with Billy. Saff is about to turn 30 and isn’t really looking forward to this milestone, but it’s inevitable. So how will Saff prepare for this birthday?
The next episode followed Dan and Amber trying to keep their cool when Ella’s infamous voice note became the hot topic on the Caribbean Island. Jordan prepared for his first date with Ella. Dani is all geared up to meet the Great Gatsby, who is back from Los Angeles. The Girlband and the Bitches are not getting along, and the friction between them is at an all-time high now. Also, Courtney caved and reached out to Junaid, inviting him to her birthday bash.
In the fifth episode, unresolved tension lingers in Essex as Courtney celebrates her birthday. But, that gets sidelined when the news Yaz got involved in a serious car crash is shared. Chloe also reaches out to Junaid. This new development is worrying Ella because it might affect her new friendship group.
Saff turned 30 and is now leaving her family home to move into her own place. But, how her dad will take the news can’t be assumed when Saff doesn’t even know where she will be moving to. Diags might not be settling very well as a manager at Plumb Point. Will he crack under the pressure of succumbing to failure, or will he prove just how good he can be, impressing everybody with his management skills?
The Only Way Is Essex Season 29 Episode 6: Release Date
The first episode of this season aired on 21st August 2022. The second episode aired on 28th August, followed by a new episode which aired on 4th September. The fourth episode was aired last week on 11th September. The Only Way Is Essex Season 29 Episode 6 premiered this Sunday, 18th September.
On 25th September, which is next Sunday, the sixth episode of The Only Way Is Essex Season 29 will be released. The sixth episode will focus on Pete, who is taking his role as the Love Guru rather seriously. Lockie, his partner in crime, will be returning soon. New beginnings await Sims this time.
