In the previous chapter of The Novel’s Extra (Remake), everyone is ready for their Activation Mission, where the team would be on standby until they receive Activation orders. Nayoon arrives late since she has to meet her grandfather, Chairman Chae Jucheol, and everyone becomes curious about the infamous Daehyun’s Chairman.

Yoo Yeonha goes to call her Uncle to ask him for an update regarding Kim Hajin’s parents. Yeonha’s Uncle is confused as to why Yeonha is being so persistent about it.

Yeonha’s Uncle somehow comes to think that Kim Hajin is a survivor of the Gwangoh Shelter Massacre Accident, where his parents died. The accident happened 16 years ago, where 87 people in the shelter died, along with 9 heroes who had arrived to save them from the monsters.

They begin fighting the Golems, but Nayoon doesn’t predict the speed of the monsters. Nayoon is almost crushed by the Golem when Kim Hajin appears and protects Nayoon, saving her life. He tells Nayoon to make her blade longer and be careful in the future.
