Pokemon, the top-selling anime of the 2000s is the most sensational series of anime brought to us. Our childhood is incomplete without pokemon (I mean there isn’t a single 2000’s kid out there who isn’t aware of Pokemon). So we decided to bring out the 8 Popular Crab Pokemon according to the fandom.
Pokemon was aired 1 year after the release of the game by Nintendo. So, Pokemon was originally a game, then it was turned into an anime, and then a manga was released shortly after. We know Pokemon come in a whopping 18 different types – Normal, Fire, Water, Grass, Flying, Fighting, Poison, Electric, Ground, Rock, Psychic, Ice, Bug, Ghost, Steel, Dragon, Dark, and Fairy. Let’s take our Pokedex out and go through the 8 Most Popular crab pokemon to exist.
1. Crabominable
The Crustacean Pokemon is covered in white fur, which was introduced in the 7th Generation. This popular crab Pokemon is a Fighting/Ice Pokemon. . It is also known as the “Wooly Crab Pokemon”.
Crabominable’s abilities include – Hyper cutter, an Iron fist and a hidden ability, and Anger point. The Crabominable is evolved from the none other, Crabcrawler.
2. Crabcrawler
The next in line is my personal favorite, The Crabcrawler is a Fighting-type Pokemon. It was introduced in the 7th Generation as a competitive Pokemon that hates to lose. The claws are shaped like a pair of boxing gloves making it look mighty and indestructible.
The heavy hitter can easily split tree trunks when competing for ripe berries. II personally find the pokemon to be very attractive as it is purple and blue.
3. Krabby
The water-type Pokemon, introduced in Generation 1 is a tanned and red Pokemon with two long pincers as its signature feature.
The Crustacean Pokemon has a strong outer shell with light tan arms. These physical traits help Krabby with the abilities – Of hyper cutter and Shell Armour. it can use camouflage too.
4. Crustle
A Pokemon evolved from the adorable Dwebble, is another popular crab Pokemon known as Crustle. The Bug/Rock-type Pokemon debuted in the 5th Generation and can move in and out of its Sedimentary rock-like shell. This admired crab Pokemon can weigh up to 200 kgs.
Crustle is armed with a very cool ability called the smell smash. Its greatest weapons are the thick brown claws which can result in a devastating impact for different attacks on its opponent.
5. Parasect
Parasect is another popular crab Pokemon. The insect-like Pokemon is taken over by a parasitic mushroom on its back. This hybrid Pokemon is a big red flag for the trees. It is known to infest the trees, basically draining the entire tree of its nutrients until it dies off.
It thrives in the forest and is mostly seen fighting the Shiinotic (a mushroom-like Pokemon) over territory, therefore making them natural enemies.
6. Kingler
The Evolution of Krabby is Kingler. Now Kingler is cool because of two reasons – Firstly, It is a strong Pokemon, and then Secondly IT’S GIGANTAMAX FORM. For instance, the opponent gets hit by the humongous pincer it’s GAME OVER. The huge pincer wields 10,000 horsepower but ends up getting in the way most of the time. The attacks are 100x stronger when Kingler is in the Gigantamax form. The left pincer will destroy anything in its way. However, having a pincer that strong is a con because then it ends up weakening the pokemon.
7. Dwebble
This adorable popular crab Pokemon has the most beautiful eyes. They are the definition of puppy eyes. It is one of the shortest Rock types. It investigates rocks and finds the most suitable one for its back instead of a shell. After finding a rock, it gives it a shell-like carving with its corrosive spray.
Fun fact, Dwebble is a very useful Pokemon when it comes to Nuzlocke.
8. Kabuto
A rare but still popular crab Pokemon. Kabuto’s are small and they resemble horseshoe crabs. Coming to the eyes, They are nothing like Dwebble’s cute jelly-like eyes. Kabuto has dark red luminous eyes. They are known to be good swimmers, in conclusion, they are found in the oceans.
