The Masked Singer Season 8 Episode 10 Recap
In this semifinal’s revelry, Nick invites Harp, Snowstorm, & Lambs to the stage. We’ve exposed 18 celebs & are reduced to the final 3. They were all invited to play a song before engaging in an intense three-way Battle Rumble.
Harp goes first. “I’m incredibly happy at entering the quarterfinals and I truly want to win,” she says in her clue packet. I’m overjoyed to be here since I’ve always enjoyed the show. My sisters are now unaware, as are my father and friends. My husband has no idea; he believes I’m making a movie.
Harp performed Lizzo’s “About Damn Time.” We haven’t heard Harp perform in days; she has a wonderful voice, and it’s good to listen to her perform a joyful, up-tempo tune. She nailed it this week, as she does every week.
Nicole describes Harp’s performance as the finest display of the season. Jenny refers to her as an icon. A turkey pulls out an extra clue for Harp: an Oprah portrait. Harp is identified by the panel as Jennifer Hudson, Jordin Sparks, & Amber Riley.
Snowstorm came up next. She performed Katy Perry’s “Thinking of You.” It’s a lovely song that’s well-played. It’s definitely her best vocal performance of the season. Jenny says she “wowed us,” while Robin adds it was her “greatest vocal performance.”
A Thanksgiving Day procession with a balloon placard that says “Squiggly” provides another hint. “Squiggly Monster was a good buddy of mine who is no longer with us,” she says. It feels strange crying with this voice, yet he was the inspiration for me to perform this presentation since his journey was so fulfilling. I’m so pleased he got to enjoy it before he died.”
Bob Saget played the Squiggly Monster. Snowstorm, according to the panelists, was Whitney Cummings, Nikki Glaser, & Kristen Wiig.
Next, Lambs sang Lady A’s “Need You Now.” Nicole claims that the music always flows from their heart, blood, and spirit. The goofy turkey then reappears to provide further clues. It’s a stone with the word “REUNION” on it. “For a long time, I didn’t believe we’d ever be performing on stage again,” one lamb recalls, “but I’ve never abandoned the 3 of us coming back together.” These three lambs may represent All Saints, Spice Girls, or Wilson Phillips, according to the panel.
Harp & Lambs are the 2 acts going to the finals! That implies Snowstorm will have to remove it & show herself. But first, the panelists reveal their final predictions: Whitney Cummings, Iliza Shlesinger, Kristen Wiig, & Nikki Glaser. Snowstorm eventually removes her disguise after a brutal commercial break to expose herself as entertainer Nikki Glaser! Jenny was correct!
