The Mad Gate: Chapter 42 Recap

In the previous chapter of The Mad Gate, Eon loses control of the Mad King and kills Eurybia’s father, Aurunos, during their fight. The scene is quite emotional as Eurybia is trying to come to terms with her father’s death.

Eurybia and Aurunos had a strained relationship, and she was painfully aware that her father was a horrible person who did bad things to people around him. It was precisely why Eurybia felt guilty for being upset about her father’s death, but Eon reassured her that it was okay to cry since Aurunos was indeed her father, no matter how bad he was.
