The Late Show host Stephen Colbert has tested positive for COVID-19. The news was further confirmed by the show’s official Twitter site as the night show stands were canceled due to the recent diagnosis. It was further informed that the new episodes would be returning on Monday, May 2. Colbert further shared the message on his own Twitter page and stated that he has tested positive for Covid but assured fans that he is feeling fine and is grateful to be vaxxed and boosted.
He further thanked everyone for the good wishes. The host took this opportunity to use his humourous antics as he further adds that this just proves that he will do anything to avoid interviewing Jason Bateman! Fans soon took to the comments section to wish their beloved host a speedy recovery.

Stephen Colbert had been filming remotely since March 2020 amidst the coronavirus pandemic outbreak.
