The Golden Spoon Episode 12: Recap
While Seung-Cheon and Ju-hee were resuming their friendship, we witnessed Jun’s incarceration. When Yong delivers to the Hwang family home the next day, he is prepared to put the golden spoon to the test. Seung-Cheon once more impressed the shareholders, who thanked Hyun-so for his assistance with Jun-case.
Yeo-jin learns elsewhere that her father visited a shaman, who informed him that his daughter had passed away more than ten years prior. On the other hand, President Oh disperses the talisman he has but suddenly discovers images of Jeong Nara’s father. Yeo-jin shows up shortly after, acts normally, and then leaves the room containing the images to examine why they were there.
When Tae-Yong sees Seung-Cheon, he scares him by discreetly letting him know that he knows what the golden spoon can achieve. To ensure he always gets it right, Hyun’s assistant explains how her boss chooses the gifts based on what the recipient desires but lacks. Before departing, Seung-Cheon instructs the housekeeper to watch out that Tae-Yong doesn’t eat in their home.
But the unkempt Young-sin does that, inviting Tae-Yong to supper. Hyun enters the Hwang home as Tae-Yong is still dining, and the latter quickly finishes off before departing. From that moment on, Seung-Cheon decides to go, but not before asking Tae-long for a meal. Ju-hee learns that the bag’s owner has been apprehended. He hurried there to discover the bag, but the money was not there.
She questions the woman about it, but the latter keeps insisting that she is the district councilor of Gangnam, whose maid had taken control of her life using a golden spoon. Ju-hee is stunned by all this and wants to know something about the golden spoon after being reminded of Tae-remarks Yoon’s to Seung-Cheon. Soon after learning that Yong had lunch at his place, Seung-Cheon tries unsuccessfully to get in touch with her.
He then travels to the Lee family home, where he experiences a surge of nostalgia, particularly when his mother offers him a plate of his favorite dumpling stew. Yong and Seung-Cheon are having lunch together. The former keeps encouraging the latter to eat while warning him about the consequences of the switch.
However, he is also content inside because he recalls exchanging Tae-spoon Yong’s for a replica. Seung-Cheon is shocked when Tae-Yong, who is going to eat here for the third time, stops and refuses to go for the swap. Seung attempts to stop Tae-Yong, but the latter hits him and declares that he would never trade his parents for anything. This comes as a surprise to Seung, who later becomes intoxicated in a bar.
President Oh has learned some surprising news, and Jun-tae warns his companions of the impending storm. Seung-Cheon and Tae’s birthdays eventually coincide in The Golden Spoon episode 12, when Seung notices that Tae ate at his home and is surprised due to the condition that can make them exchange on their birthday.
When Hyun-do comes, he tries to shove Tae-Yong out of the house and then acts normally because the switch has not occurred. Cheon is stunned by this and begins to wonder if the rule might not apply until he starts addressing him as Lee Seung-Cheon.
