The First Descendant Will Skip Its Regular Patch During South Korea’s Chuseok Holiday and Give Players Free Lepic Skin and 2 Million Gold

The First Descendant is celebrating Chuseok with free gifts for players around the world while taking a short break from its regular update schedule. Developer NEXON announced on September 22 that the game will not receive its usual patch during the Korean holiday, which runs from September 24 through September 26, 2026.

Instead, players can log in during the three-day celebration to receive special Chuseok rewards through the in-game Mailbox. The gifts include the Lepic Head Skin “Protagonist,” a Transcendent Weapon Acquire Boost, a Crystallization Catalyst, 2 million Gold, and 200,000 Kuiper Shards.

According to the announcement, the rewards are being offered as a thank-you to the The First Descendant community for its continued support. Players should receive their daily gifts approximately 10 minutes after logging in on the applicable distribution date.

The First Descendant Chuseok Gift Schedule

The rewards are divided across three days, with different items available on each date.

On September 24, players can claim the Lepic Head Skin “Protagonist,” along with a 30% Transcendent Weapon Acquire Boost lasting three hours, one Crystallization Catalyst, 2,000,000 Gold, and 200,000 Kuiper Shards.

On September 25, the listed Chuseok gift will be delivered through the Mailbox, followed by another reward on September 26.

Players should claim each day’s rewards before their respective expiration dates. The September 24 reward expires on October 9, while the September 25 and September 26 gifts expire on October 10 and October 11, respectively.

NEXON also confirmed that the regular patch will return after the holiday, with the developer promising additional updates and content following the Chuseok break.
