The First Descendant Server Maintenance Scheduled for July 15 Ahead of Update 1.3.34, Temporarily Taking the Game Offline

The First Descendant players should prepare for scheduled server downtime as Nexon has announced maintenance ahead of the game’s next major update. The maintenance will deploy Update 1.3.34, bringing new gameplay content, Descendant balance adjustments, quality-of-life improvements, and additional endgame activities.

According to the official maintenance notice, the servers will be offline from July 14 at 10:00 PM PDT until July 15 at 8:00 AM PDT. During this period, the game will be unavailable across Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox.

Nexon also noted that some features of the The First Descendant Companion App may be temporarily inaccessible, while reminding players that the maintenance schedule and update contents remain subject to change. Full patch notes will be released separately once the update goes live.

Update 1.3.34 introduces new endgame content and balance changes

While the maintenance announcement focuses on server downtime, Nexon’s latest developer update provides a preview of what players can expect after the servers return.

The headline addition is the Void Intercept Battle: Extreme beta, alongside Onslaught Mode Level 4, giving veteran players more challenging endgame content. Update 1.3.34 will also include balance adjustments for Serena, Ines, and Blair, new Transcendent Modules for Serena, weapon tuning for Divine Punishment and The Final Masterpiece, firearm core improvements, and multiple quality-of-life updates, including changes to cooldown reduction, rolling, and resurrection mechanics.

Players can also look forward to new cosmetic skins and several in-game events launching on July 15, with additional rewards and seasonal activities continuing throughout July and August.
