The First Descendant players won’t have to wait much longer for the game’s next update. Nexon has officially confirmed that Patch 1.3.33 will arrive on July 2, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. PDT for Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox. While the developer has not revealed the complete patch notes yet, it has provided a preview of what players can expect when the update goes live.

According to Nexon, Patch 1.3.33 will include 2nd Anniversary events, content improvements, and bug fixes. The company also noted that the release schedule remains subject to change if necessary, with a detailed patch note planned for publication separately. The announcement was shared through both the game’s official website and social media channels, giving players an early look at the next update while keeping most of the new additions under wraps until launch.

Nexon continues its crackdown on cheaters ahead of the update

The upcoming patch follows Nexon’s latest enforcement action against players found violating The First Descendant’s operational policies. In a report covering the period between June 19 and June 25, the studio outlined the measures it had taken to maintain a fair in-game environment.

The company permanently banned three users for creating, distributing, or using unauthorized programs. Another six accounts received permanent bans after exploiting the Open Store payment process for unfair gains. Nexon also placed a seven-day trading restriction on one player after detecting abnormal transaction activity.

The largest enforcement action targeted unusual gameplay behavior. Nexon confirmed that 390 players were issued three-day separate matchmaking penalties after its monitoring systems detected suspicious activity. The developer encouraged players to continue using the in-game reporting feature whenever they encounter abnormal behavior.

Although Patch 1.3.33’s preview is brief, the update is expected to expand on its anniversary celebrations and introduce additional gameplay refinements when the complete patch notes are released. Until then, players can look forward to the July 2 rollout while Nexon continues balancing new content with ongoing efforts to keep The First Descendant fair for its community.
