In the previous chapter, Cid’s adventures in the new world are finally coming to an end, with Akane revealed to the “Genesis Knight,” who was a super-human made through science. Minirou was the mastermind of Saejima’s death, and seeing Minirou ready to strike Akana, made Cid clear on who is the real enemy.
Akana instantly killed Minrou after she went berserk from the beast blood injection, and Cid being the main character easily overpowered the powerful Genesis Knight Akane and put a stop to her rampage, finally ending her worries and the current arc. After the battle ended, it seems like Beta took Akane’s body to make her a member of the shadow garden.
In the upcoming Chapters, we can expect Akane to join the shadow garden as its 14th member and see about the events that follow.
