Carl Weber’s drama series titled The Black Hamptons is set to be back on our screens through BET+ once again, and we are here to spill everything we know about it. The first season of the show premiered sometime around late 2022 and was known to have taken inspiration from a novel of the same name, also written by Carl Weber.
Set in Sag Harbour, the show follows the family feuds between the two families, the Johnsons and the Brittons through which the makers have tried to explore the subtle difference between the lives of old-money and new-money families.
Sometime during September 2023, the second season of the show was announced with actors Lamman Rucker, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Elise Neal, Brian White, KaRon Riley, and Mike Merrill returning to their roles in the show. We will get to see some new faces in the frames as well, including Richard Lawson, Steven Williams, RonReaco Lee, Blue Kimble, Niki Taylor, and Thomas Calabro.
Two rich families fighting for power and control, going to lengths just to get their hands on the same property, wearing expensive wardrobes, and looking good while doing dangerous things is a sight we will always be up for. The show has managed to find itself a fanbase that appreciates the storyline and the actors who seem to do justice to their characters.

The Plot

While the two families may seem respectable and prestigious, standing high on the social ladder, each has dark secrets they would not want anyone to know. With a family legacy to uphold, and friends, wannabes, and thirsty developers around them, the fight to keep up their secrets and status is difficult and thrilling.
We start this new season in summer, where the drama between the two families is as high as the temperatures. This time the feud involves an art gallery as the centre of their ego wars.

The first episode of the season, along with the second one, drops on Thursday, December 7th, 2023. Where the last season had only four episodes, the total number of episodes for this season has been increased by one, to a total of five episodes.
The episodes run for no longer than fifty minutes and will be available to you at the above-mentioned release date at an expected 3:01 AM (EST). While this release time is not confirmed, we have mentioned it according to other time zones as well, so make sure to check that out.
