That girl is cute… but dangerous? or Jirai nan desu ka? Chihara-san is a manga which started serializing back in June 2021 and was written by Ryon. The manga is currently going strong with 37 chapters up for the readers and more on the way.
The story starts with our main character Kuroki a second year in high school and is starting the new semester by sitting next to a Jirai-looking girl named Mai Chihara. Jirai is a Japanese term used for describing a person who isn’t who they seem, generally used for girls and it roughly translates to “land mine”.
The story has a hidden meaning that tells readers to “Never Judge a Book by its Cover” as our main character continues to spend time with Chihara he finds out that no matter what she may look like she is just like any other normal High school girl.

The chapter starts with Kuroki and Chihara making plans during their summer vacations. Kuroki is glad that he is getting the chance to enjoy hanging out with Chihara even during their summer breaks. As soon as they meet at the meeting point Chihara hands out a ticket for a high-speed bus to Kuroki.
Then Chihara tells us the plans for today and we get to know that both of them are going camping. It’s more like glamping rather than camping. Glamping is a style of camping with all the amenities in the tent or sometimes even hotel-like services.
Both of them spend the day at the camp cooking and enjoying themselves trying to recreate the moments of their school trip but this time exclusive just only for the two of them. They ate and talked about the slippers that Kurki gifted Chihara and how she really likes them.
At the end of the day just when the bus was about to arrive Chihara proceeds to ask Kuroki to stay the night at the camp. This makes Kuroki a little flustered, Chihahra continues to say that it would be a waste to not see the stars this time too. As there wouldn’t be a teacher on patrol this time it would be a good time to watch them. With this, the chapter comes to an end.

Jirai nan desu ka? Chihara-san have quite some weird release patterns following frequent month-long hiatus. There is no information available about the release of the next chapter of Jirai nan desu ka? Chihara-san so in that case we have analysed the previously released patterns.
