Plot
Set shortly after “Cult of Chucky”, in Hackensack, New Jersey, 14-year-old Jake Wheeler buys a Good Guy doll for an art project. He soon realizes that the doll, named Chucky, houses the spirit of serial killer Charles Lee Ray. As a series of murders unfold, Jake becomes a primary suspect. Intertwined with the plot are flashbacks revealing Charles’s transformation into a killer. Addressing themes like sexuality, bullying, and family dynamics, Jake’s challenges are accentuated by the malevolent doll’s influence, especially in the face of societal prejudice.
