Suits LA has finally embraced its true nature, and it does so in an entertaining way. The latest episode proves that the show can have fun while delivering intense legal drama. This episode stands out by bringing in another well-known television star and welcoming Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) back into the picture.
Enrico Colantoni appears in Episode 4 as a fictionalized version of himself. His character gets into legal trouble after using a chainsaw to carve an anatomically correct male body part into his neighbor’s hedge.
This accusation seems shocking for a man famous for playing one of television’s most beloved fathers. However, this moment helps the show highlight its sense of humor while keeping the audience entertained.
At the same time, Ted (Stephen Amell) deals with more problems involving Lester (Kevin Weisman). The situation forces him to revisit memories from his time in New York. So far, these flashbacks have felt like a distraction, but this time, they bring Harvey into the story. The episode reveals that Ted and Harvey had a strong friendship in New York. It also shows that Harvey played a key role in helping Ted with a difficult mob-related case.
This episode balances comedy and drama effectively. It delivers several laugh-out-loud moments, explores legal strategies like playing “good cop, bad cop,” and strengthens relationships between different legal firms. It stands out as the strongest Suits LA episode so far. If the show continues on this path, it will become a worthy follow-up to the original series.

Suits LA Proves It Can Be Funny in Episode 4
Rick (Bryan Greenberg) shows his excitement when he discovers that Colantoni is now a client. He is a big fan of Veronica Mars, the show that made Colantoni famous. However, his enthusiasm fades when he realizes that he must work on Colantoni’s criminal case with Stuart (Josh McDermitt).
Things get even more complicated when Stuart pressures Rick into playing a game of Dungeons & Dragons at his house in exchange for his legal assistance. This moment is a clear sign that Suits LA knows how to bring fun into its storyline.
Rick and Stuart take the “good cop, bad cop” approach to get Colantoni to confess. Eventually, he admits that he did carve the inappropriate shape into his neighbor’s petunia bushes.
He explains that this was his way of getting revenge because the neighbor had pranked him earlier. The evidence supporting the case is hilarious, but the legal team finds a way to get the charges against Colantoni dropped.
Unfortunately, Colantoni does not feel satisfied with simply being cleared of the charges. He wants to take action against his neighbor for a completely different reason. His children enjoy watching the neighbor’s TikTok content more than they enjoy watching their father’s acting work. To resolve this issue, Rick offers a compromise.

He arranges for Colantoni to make a guest appearance on his neighbor’s next viral video. This makes everyone happy, except for Rick, who still has to follow through with his promise to attend Stuart’s Dungeons & Dragons session. Fans can only hope that the show will eventually reveal this scene, complete with Rick wearing the dreaded wizard hat.
Lester’s Case Brings Ted and Erica Together in a Strategic Legal Battle
Ted arrives at work to find out that a major studio is removing Lester’s name from his latest film. Since it is an entertainment-related case, Erica (Lex Scott Davis) is already handling it. However, Ted insists on getting involved, especially after learning that Samantha (Rachelle Goulding) is representing the opposing side.
Ted rushes into the first negotiation and quickly takes control. Samantha admits that she expected to lose in court. However, before stepping back, she reveals damaging information about Lester’s past. This move ruins Ted’s plan to defend Lester in an upcoming murder trial.
To counter this problem, Ted and Erica use the “good cop, bad cop” strategy once again. They convince Lester to agree to an earlier trial date. This decision allows Ted to focus on proving Lester’s innocence, which will also help counter the studio’s claim that Lester violated his morality clause.
Ted takes immediate action and files a motion for an expedited trial. This move angers prosecutor Elizabeth Smith (Sofia Pernas). She believes that Ted is hiding something, and she vows to uncover the truth before the trial begins.
To strengthen his case, Ted turns to Amanda (Maggie Grace) for help. Amanda discovers that Elizabeth has a history of using delay tactics in similar cases. Elizabeth had claimed she needed extra time to secure a surprise witness, but she had done this in multiple previous trials. This revelation weakens her credibility.
However, speeding up the trial does not solve every problem. The studio still wants to remove Lester’s name from the film. Ted tries to stop them by filing an injunction, but Samantha reveals another damaging secret.
The studio knows that someone stole money from the film’s budget. It was actually Lester’s producing partner who committed the fraud, but if this information became public, it could provide the prosecution with a possible motive for the murder.
Ted and Erica work together to push back against the studio. They warn the executives that if they conduct an audit on this movie, all of Lester’s previous films could also face scrutiny.
This could cost the studio millions of dollars. The studio eventually agrees to seal the audit report and keep Lester’s name on the movie. However, they decide not to release the film at all and instead take a tax write-off.
Ted refuses to back down. He bluffs and tells the studio that his most powerful clients will refuse to work with them if they bury Lester’s film. Samantha immediately sees through his lie, but the studio does not want to take the risk. As a result, Ted successfully secures a written agreement stating that the movie will be released with Lester’s name attached.
Harvey Specter Helps Ted Handle a Dangerous Mobster
The episode includes flashbacks that reveal a critical moment in Ted’s past. Pellegrini (Anthony Azizi), the mobster Ted was trying to prosecute, makes a bold move. He approaches Eddie (Carson A. Egan) while Eddie is working at a diner. This action is meant to intimidate Ted, and it works. Ted confronts Pellegrini, but it is clear that he feels uneasy about the situation.
Eddie also feels scared. He shares the incident with Samantha, who then questions Ted about the dangers of his work. Ted reassures Samantha that Eddie is safe. However, this moment foreshadows Samantha’s eventual decision to leave New York.
At the time, she had a job offer from a firm in Los Angeles but had decided not to accept it because she loved her life with Ted in New York. This episode hints at the reasons behind her future departure.
Ted seeks guidance from Harvey Specter, who happens to be on the same recreational baseball team as him. After a game, Harvey takes Ted out for drinks and shares an important discovery. He tells Ted that Pellegrini has an informant inside Ted’s office. This is how Pellegrini knew about Ted’s star witness and had him eliminated.
The conversation between Ted and Harvey includes witty banter about which of them is Batman and which is Superman. The dialogue captures the classic Suits style that fans love. The final flashback scene brings an emotional moment. Ted returns home to find Eddie and Samantha watching Friends.
He joins them, makes popcorn, and enjoys the moment. The scene highlights the warmth of their small family, making it even more heartbreaking to realize that Pellegrini’s actions will eventually tear them apart.
Suits LA Episode 4 Brings Humor, Drama, and Harvey Specter’s Return
In Episode 4 of Suits LA, the show finally embraces its unique style, blending humor with intense legal drama. A guest appearance by Enrico Colantoni adds a comedic twist as he plays a fictionalized version of himself.
His character gets into legal trouble after carving an inappropriate shape into his neighbor’s hedge. This moment proves that Suits LA can make fun of itself while keeping the audience entertained.

Meanwhile, Ted (Stephen Amell) faces new challenges with Lester’s legal troubles. Flashbacks reveal his deep connection with Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), who played a key role in a past mob-related case.
The episode also strengthens relationships within the firm, bringing Erica (Lex Scott Davis) and Ted together to handle Lester’s growing problems. Their teamwork results in an expedited murder trial and a major bluff that forces a film studio to release Lester’s movie.
The flashbacks also show how a dangerous mobster named Pellegrini (Anthony Azizi) intimidated Ted by approaching his brother, Eddie. Ted seeks advice from Harvey, who informs him that someone in his office has been leaking information to the mob.
