The third season of Stillwater is making its way to our screens this week. The Peabody Award-winning animated series about the panda who shares valuable lessons about life and friendship with his next-door neighbors is making a third run, and today, we’re sharing with you all the details you should know ahead of its premiere.
Addy, Michael, and Karl are coming back to Stillwater’s house for more adventures with great messages that can teach your kids a thing or two. In each episode, Stillwater and the kids will share their day and experiences while telling a nice story that’s beautifully animated.
The popular show, developed by Scholastic Entertainment and Gaumont Animation, is an adaptation from a series of books from the 2000s created by Jon J Muth, and with the help of Malika Chopra and the people at Apple TV+, constitutes the latest offer of children’s entertainment that the Cupertino platform has to offer in its constant competition for attention in the streaming platforms battle for the attention of the younger crowd.
What To Expect From Stillwater Season 3?
Stillwater tells the story of Stillwater the Panda, a bear who lives next door to three brothers, Addy, Mike, and Karl, who visit him at his Asian architecture house and estate, and together they share fantastic adventures while learning valuable lessons about nature, life, and friendship that can resonate with the children who watch this show. Each episode usually consists of varied adventures and experiences with a valuable lesson to teach your kids.
The show is developed by Gaumont Animation and Scholastic Entertainment, and it’s executively produced by Golden Globe Award-winner Christophe Riandee, who’s credited with other successful productions like Hannibal and Narcos, this being the first time he does work for children.
Furthermore, Riandee teamed up with Annie Award-winner animation developer Jul Falkenstein in the director’s chair, who worked as executive producer, creator, and director for many children’s shows like Monster High, The Lion King, Winnie The Pooh, and Scooby Doo.

Stillwater Season 3 Episode 1 Release Date
Stillwater Season 3 Episode 1 will release on 19 May 2023 at 00:00 hrs Pacific Time United States on Apple TV+. Apple TV+ hasn’t dropped many details about the upcoming episodes. We know that for the premiere, the first two episodes will release simultaneously, but they haven’t made available more details for the rest of the season. Furthermore, how many episodes there’ll be for this third run is also not clear.
The debut season had thirteen episodes, the sophomore season had seven, and we could expect something in the works of no less than seven for the third one. In any case, we’ll keep an eye out and let you know about these details when more information becomes public. Lastly, each episode lasts around 23 minutes. It is generally composed of two different stories.
