Station 19 is a spin-off series to the hit American medical TV show “Grey’s Anatomy,” a show that tries to show the lives of people who are working in the medical surgery field. Trying to focus on what they do in their daily lives and how they keep a balance between their professional and social life. The show was met with critical acclaim & holds an 84% positive rating on rotten tomatoes.
Owing to the success of Grey’s Anatomy, Channing Dungey, the president of AMC entertainment group, announced that the hit medical TV show will finally get a spin-off series titled Station 19. Station 19 first aired on 22 March 2018. Its story focuses on the lives of the firefighters who are stationed at Station 19.
Although the show made its first airing on March 2018, its first onscreen debut came from “season 14, episode 13” of Grey’s Anatomy, when a fire broke out in “Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.” The show’s creators wanted to have the spin-off series to have a similar vibe to that of Grey’s Anatomy. The audience could easily connect with this new show.
