However, the superheroes have studied IJSA for many years and realize they can use weaknesses to their advantage. They also discover about new villain group called Injustice Unlimited. Courtney’s new journey begins when she meets with Starman and trains to eliminate two villain groups.

Courtney stays with her stepfather Pat Dungan; the two are the perfect duo for the hero’s work. However, she is the leader of a mysterious crew of heroes who want to continue DC’s legacy. Fortunately, she encounters Starman, who decides to help her to unlock her hidden powers through training. Courtney accepted Straman’s offer, and all she had to do was to help him set his life in the town of Blue Valley.
One day a murder occurs, and it needs superheroes to solve it. This brings lots of questions since many suspects the former supervillains. The supervillains have revealed that they are reforming, and they will never go back on their words. However, Courtney, Stramand, and Pat discovered the shocking truth about these mysterious incidents. Later, Gambler returns to Blue Valley looking to make amends, but the superheroes wonder if they should trust him since they have discovered something that will lead them to the suspect. The superheroes doubt if Gambler is trustworthy.
Starman, an experienced man, told the others first to watch Gambler, and they must not tell him anything about what they have learned. He knows that Gambler won’t throw away his old ways even though he has returned to make amends. Stargirl, Courtney continues with her daily training knowing that she will be facing tough supervillains who lied to them about reforming, and if they have reformed, citizens of Blue Valley wouldn’t be facing death. Courtney and Starman realize that they have found the culprit, but they are yet to prove that the guy is the suspect.
