Final Fantasy XIV also continued contributing to the company’s results, adding strength across its established portfolio.

The results give Square Enix a positive start to the fiscal year as it prepares to release more games and updated versions of existing titles. The company has several projects planned for Nintendo Switch 2, including Final Fantasy Resonance, Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World, Final Fantasy VII Remake projects and additional releases from the Dragon Quest, Octopath Traveler and Kingdom Hearts franchises.
