The finale of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test Season 3 was an intense experience. The final episode of the popular Fox competition series tested the recruits beyond their limits. By the end, Brody Jenner and Kayla Nicole successfully completed the selection process, earning recognition as the strongest recruits of the season.
The final challenges began with the “Redman” test, where each recruit had to physically engage with an “enemy.” This was a test of both strength and determination. During this challenge, Kayla Nicole spoke about how the online criticism she faced after her breakup with Travis Kelce helped her develop mental toughness.
The second challenge divided the recruits into two teams. Their goal was to find the extraction point before time ran out. However, both teams failed to escape and were captured. Kayla and Brody found themselves competing against Alana Blanchard, Cam Newton, and Golden Tate. Once captured, they were interrogated and ordered to hide their connection to the Special Forces.
Brody believed his background in reality television prepared him for this situation. He explained that he had faced tough questioning before, saying: “People aren’t laughing with you. They’re laughing at you, getting all these questions bombarded on you by [the] paparazzi.”
Kayla found this part of the challenge especially tough, but she relied on her experience with online hate to stay strong. Alana struggled the most when interrogators questioned her as a mother who left her children to be on the show. The emotional weight of the interrogation led her to withdraw from the competition.
Kayla Nicole and Brody Jenner Passed the Final Test
After Alana’s exit, only four recruits remained. The final challenge focused on extreme physical endurance. They were told to reveal their identity as Special Forces trainees only if they truly feared for their lives.
Cam and Golden were unable to pass this test. Brody endured a difficult moment when he was held underwater, but he remained calm. He later shared that his motivation was to push himself as far as possible. His ability to stay composed under pressure impressed the Directing Staff.
Kayla’s turn in the challenge was equally intense. She ultimately chose to reveal her identity to protect herself. The Directing Staff praised her performance, recognizing her ability to handle extreme stress.
Before taking part in the test, she admitted she did not know how she would react to the torture element. However, she told herself that she was experiencing an out-of-body moment to stay mentally strong.
She later shared her thoughts on completing the competition, saying: “The DS taught me the power of resilience. I can do a lot of really freaking hard things.” Fox has not yet confirmed whether Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test will return for Season 4. While fans wait for news, they can watch past seasons on Hulu.
