Naomi Judd and her daughter Wynonna Judd joined forces as they rose to fame and became the Grammy-winning country stars, The Judds. The devastating news was further confirmed by her daughters Wynonna and Ashley, who issued a statement stating that they have lost their beautiful mother to the disease of mental illness and are shattered. The entire music industry mourns such a big loss.
The statement further stated that the family is navigating profound grief. Popular television star Loni Love also paid a sweet tribute to Naomi as she recalled her time on Star Search back in 2003, when Naomi Judd served as a judge. Loni Love further said Joe Naomi gave her a perfect score, and that changed her life.

Hall of Fame CEO Kyle also issued a statement saying how Young Naomi overcame incredible adversity on her way to a significant place in music history. The Judds performers scored as many as 14 No. 1 songs in a career that spanned almost three decades. The mother-daughter duo perfected the soul-soothing mix of the traditional Appalachian sounds of bluegrass with polished pop stylings. The Judds managed to deliver back-to-back hits in the 1980s. While Wynonna led the duo with her powerful vocals, Naomi gave harmonies and her iconic looks on stage.
Fans recently saw the duo after a long while at the CMT Music Awards. Singer Travis Tritt also paid a heartfelt tribute while calling Naomi one of the sweetest people. The two had earlier worked on-screen and during performances. Wynonna Judd had earlier admitted how their music had kept the duo together throughout their lives.
