This news comes just a while after Matthew Broderick also tested positive for the coronavirus and was compelled to pull out of Tuesday’s show just hours before he was all set to star in Plaza Suite. Plaza Suite has become the third Broadway production that has to be canceled in recent weeks due to COVID-19. The show is directed by John Benjamin Hickey, and it is penned down by Simon. The play revolves around three different couples staying in the renowned Plaza hotel. The play also starred Danny Bolero, Molly Ranson, and Eric Wiegand.
A few days earlier, Daniel Craig also tested positive, which led to the Broadway production pulling out of the show in which the actor was scheduled to star. Singing sensation Miley Cyrus also confirmed her being COVID positive.
