As always Amazon Prime released the Rings Of Power Episode 7 Trailer on their Streaming platform and not on their YouTube Channel. If you are not able to find the Trailer then don’t worry as we’ll be going through and breaking down the trailer of the seventh episode of Season 1 of Rings of Power.
In the most recent episode of The Rings of Power, the Southlanders’ battle with Adar came to a tragic conclusion. With the assistance of the Nmenoreans and Galadriel, they appeared to have crushed his Orc army, but the evil Waldreg made a daring getaway with Sauron’s sword.
When Theo finally realizes what has happened, it is already too late because the innkeeper used the weapon to break open the dam above the Southlands, drowning the area and igniting the volcano. The episode ends abruptly with Galadriel still and covered in dust as the lava approaches the village.
Rings Of Power Episode 7 Trailer Breakdown
The cliffhanger naturally caused some viewers to worry for the Elven commander, but thankfully we already know what happened to her. Given her importance in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, there was never really any doubt that Galadriel would survive the explosion. She can be seen in the Rings of Power episode 7 trailer gazing around at the destroyed settlement of Tirharad in the Southlands while covered in crimson ash. We can only pray that she is not the only survivor of the eruption because everything is on fire.
As for who all, other than Galadriel, survived that Mount Doom eruption. Halbrand will also survive since, most likely, he was intended to be the Witch King. Arondir, Theo, and Bronwyn may also live since they may have a crucial role to play in the future. I don’t know about the fate of Queen Miriel and the other Southlanders.
Additionally, the characters that were missing from “Udûn” are featured in the new trailer. Largo tells the Harfoots, “Up ahead, I guess this is it,” suggesting they are on the point of arriving at their destination. But as Nori and her family gaze over the rising hills, the ground appears to tremble.
Even if there appear to be some problems with the quarries of Khazad-dûm, Elrond and the Dwarves are still working to unearth Mithril. King Durin says, “We do not drill in Earth that cannot hold it, going into depths of the darkness,” before adding stiffly, “Their time has just come.” It’s unclear whom he is referring to specifically, but it doesn’t sound good. And Celebrimbor will definitely be ready to get his hands on Mithril and use it in his creation. Also, he is meant to forge the Rings of Power, so let’s see where it all goes.
Just 2 Rings Of Power Episodes Are Left
The phrase “epic” doesn’t properly capture how the sixth episode ends. The moment Galadriel and Arondir shared some screen time together, things began to fall apart due to the floods, flames, and general mayhem. We are aware that Sauron has not completely gone, just as we are aware that Galadriel’s quest for vengeance may cause her to travel in unexpected directions.
We will be angry if episode 7 does not pick up directly after the final moments of episode 6. Why wouldn’t you be? Galadriel survives this situation, as we already know from the J.R.R. Tolkien source material. What effect does all this murder and destruction have on her, though? One of the drawbacks of being an immortal elf is having to constantly witness suffering. You can witness people coming and going and witness several greetings and farewells. This is what adds a certain sadness to Arondir’s love story.
In addition to everything we’ve covered so far, it’s perhaps important to remember where this episode currently fits into the overall scheme of things: It’s the last one before the season’s conclusion. Does anyone else find it hard to believe we’ve already reached this point? It’s nearly impossible to believe, but this is partially a result of the first two episodes available to watch simultaneously. The Rings of Power has already been officially renewed for a second season, so at least we know in advance that the project might go for five seasons.
