Re:ZERO Season 4 Episode 83 Preview Sets Up the Next Chapter

Season 4 follows the aftermath of the devastating battle at the Watergate City of Priestella, where Subaru and his allies survived but suffered enormous losses. Rem remains trapped in an endless sleep because of the Authority of Gluttony, while Crusch has lost her memories and Julius has had his name consumed.

The story eventually leads Subaru and his companions toward the Pleiades Watchtower, located deep within the dangerous Auguria Dunes. The tower is associated with the mysterious wise man Shaula, while the surrounding desert contains powerful mabeasts and dangers that have challenged even legendary warriors.

Episode 17 continues the Recapture Arc, which began airing on August 12 as the second part of Season 4. The arc is scheduled to run for eight episodes, bringing the current season toward its conclusion.

The newly released web trailer gives viewers another glimpse at the characters and conflicts waiting in Episode 83, while the preview stills highlight several key characters from the ongoing storyline. The official anime team has also released the full mini anime episode through its YouTube channel.

Season 4 is produced by WHITE FOX, with Masahiro Shinohara directing and Tappei Nagatsuki, the original light novel author, serving as script supervisor.
