The sword is found by a young catgirl slave named Fran, who uses him to kill the bear. She gives the blade the name “Teacher” after escaping enslavement, and the two go out on an adventure.

Due to Fran having acquired her sword skills from Teacher, Skill Taker is unable to function. The demon rejects the Dungeon Master’s offer of assistance despite repeated requests. Teacher encourages Fran to direct her assaults at him so that the demon will have to defend him because a Dungeon Master’s summoned cannot survive without him.
Teacher is thrown at the Dungeon Master by Fran, but when the monster tries to grab him, Teacher abruptly alters course and impales the demon, killing him.
