The glories and the creatures that the Earth had 66 million years ago will all be displayed in season 2 in its 5 episodes. In the first episode, we will get to know about the Islands, with a special emphasis on the enormous pterosaur Hatzegopteryx. In the second episode, two young Tarchia are slogging across a scorching desert in search of reprieve, taking viewers to the badlands.
In episode 3, travels to the ancient wetlands and investigates the Pachycephalosaurus’ existence. The next two episodes of season 2 will explore the terrifying Mosasaurus underwater and then visit more familiar North American locations to check in on the T. rex.
Recap Of Prehistoric Planet Season 1
In the first and the second episode which was titled Coast and Desert respectively, we saw that a tiny child of a pregnant Tuarangisaurus can identify and travel to those locations near the portions where most of the creatures don’t even go. In the second episode, we saw the Barbaridactylus pterosaur males engaged in aerial combat above the North African deserts as they fought for the attention of females below.
The eight-ton Deinocheirus, with its feathery midsection and duckbill, wades through an Asian swamp in the third episode, “Freshwater,” in search of relief from pesky biting flies. The fourth episode of the series, “Ice Worlds,” featured a tense standoff between Pachyrhinosaurus and Nanuqsaurus, two extinct competitors.
The fifth episode, “Forests,” showed us how traveling through an underground tunnel in North America becomes risky when a young Triceratops is separated from its mother.
