The Pokémon Company has announced a month-long lineup of special Tera Raid Battles and Mass Outbreak events for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, with four consecutive weekly events running from August 7 through September 4, 2026.

Each week will spotlight a different powerful Pokémon in 7-Star Black Crystal Tera Raids, while themed Mass Outbreaks will increase encounters with related Pokémon across Paldea and the game’s DLC regions.

Four weeks of featured raids and special outbreaks

The first event, running August 7–14, features a Grass Tera-type Glimmora carrying the Mightiest Mark. At the same time, Glimmet and Glimmora will appear in special Mass Outbreaks, with an increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon.

During the second week, August 14–21, trainers can battle a Ghost Tera-type Annihilape in 7-Star raids. The accompanying Mass Outbreaks will feature Mankey, Primeape, and Annihilape, with boosted odds of finding Pokémon carrying the Angry Mark.

The third event, August 21–28, introduces a Fairy Tera-type Farigiraf with the Mightiest Mark. Mass Outbreaks will feature Girafarig and Farigiraf, including increased appearances of Pokémon with the Intellectual Mark, particularly in the Blueberry Academy.

The final week, August 28–September 4, spotlights a Dark Tera-type Kingambit. Players will also encounter Pawniard, Bisharp, and Kingambit during themed outbreaks, with a greater chance of finding Pokémon bearing the Charismatic Mark.

According to The Pokémon Company, each featured Mightiest Mark Pokémon can only be caught once per save file, although players may continue participating in raids afterward to earn additional rewards. The company also noted that these Pokémon may return in future events or become obtainable through other methods.

Players must download the latest Poké Portal News to access the events, while participating in online multiplayer raids requires an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
