PlayStation is making its position on PC releases increasingly clear with a new promotional video titled “Only on PS5.” The 30-second montage features six major games associated with the platform, including Saros, Astro Bot, Gran Turismo 7, Ghost of Yotei, God of War Laufey, and Marvel’s Wolverine.
The message strongly supports Sony’s reported shift away from bringing its major narrative single-player games to PC. The ad ends with the narrator declaring,
“These moments don’t happen anywhere else,” followed by an invitation for players to experience them “only on PS5.”
The wording is particularly notable because none of the six featured games currently has a PC version announced.
Sony Reinforces Its PS5-Exclusive Strategy
The new video arrives months after Bloomberg reported that Sony was pulling back from PC ports for its major single-player PlayStation Studios games. According to Bloomberg’s reporting, online and multiplayer titles could still launch on multiple platforms, while narrative-focused games would remain exclusive to PlayStation.

The report was later reinforced when Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier said PlayStation Studios head Hermen Hulst had told employees during a town hall that the company’s “narrative single-player games will now be PlayStation exclusive.” This means future blockbuster titles developed within PlayStation Studios are expected to remain off PC under Sony’s current strategy.
Sony had spent several years expanding its presence on Steam, bringing major games such as God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Ghost of Tsushima, Marvel’s Spider-Man, and The Last of Us to PC. However, the new “Only on PS5” campaign suggests that strategy has now changed significantly for internally developed single-player games.
For PC players, the video offers the clearest recent indication that games such as Marvel’s Wolverine, God of War Laufey, Saros, and Ghost of Yotei are being positioned as part of PlayStation’s console-exclusive future. Sony has not ruled out releasing multiplayer projects on PC, but its biggest story-driven experiences now appear central to its effort to give the PS5 a stronger exclusive lineup.
