S-GAME has announced that Phantom Blade Zero has effectively completed development, marking a major milestone ahead of its scheduled October 29 release. The studio also confirmed that pre-orders will open on August 11, accompanied by a brand-new trailer featuring previously unseen content.

According to S-GAME, the upcoming trailer will include new story scenes, additional characters, expanded combat mechanics, and “something unexpected” that has yet to be revealed.

First revealed during the PlayStation Showcase 2023, Phantom Blade Zero quickly drew attention for its fast-paced sword combat and dark fantasy setting.

Previously, S-GAME founder and CEO Liang “Soulframe” said the game was inspired by titles such as Ninja Gaiden, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Nioh, while emphasizing that spectacular large-scale boss battles are one of its defining features.
