Pearl Abyss has announced the winners of its global “Beyond the Abyss: Community Challenge” for Crimson Desert, recognizing 10 creators whose gameplay videos highlighted the upcoming open-world action RPG in creative ways. The contest, which began in June, encouraged players worldwide to capture and share their own adventures across the world of Pywel.

According to Pearl Abyss, the winning entries were selected after evaluating gameplay, storytelling, and video editing quality.

The final winners include creators from France, Spain, the United States, China, and South Korea, reflecting the game’s growing international community. Pearl Abyss selected six long-form and four short-form videos that showcased a wide variety of playstyles.

The company highlighted videos featuring unconventional combat, including players defeating enemies without weapons, alongside creative exploration of Pywel using different mounts. Rather than following a single approach, the contest celebrated players who expressed their own stories and unique experiences within Crimson Desert’s open world.

As part of their prize, the winners will receive round-trip airfare and accommodation to visit Pearl Abyss headquarters, Home One, where they will also receive commemorative Crimson Desert coins and exclusive merchandise.

Crimson Desert is an upcoming open-world action-adventure game that follows Kliff and his Greymane companions as they journey across the seamless continent of Pywel. While Pearl Abyss has yet to announce the game’s final release date, the studio continues to spotlight community engagement ahead of launch.
