Japanese vocal and dance group PassCode has released a behind-the-scenes documentary highlighting their arena concert PassCode YOKOHAMA BUNTAI 2025 “DESTINEX.” The film arrives shortly after the group dropped their latest single, “Liberator,” on March 4, 2026.
The Blu-ray bundled with the Limited First Edition of the single includes the first live performance of “Liberator,” which originally took place during the Yokohama Buntai arena concert held on November 9, 2025. The performance marked an important moment for the group, presenting the new track to fans during one of their largest recent shows.
To commemorate the release, PassCode has now unveiled a 35-minute documentary on YouTube that offers an inside look at the preparation for the “DESTINEX” concert. The film follows the members across several days leading up to the performance, capturing rehearsals, backstage moments, and the pressure surrounding the major arena event.

The track “Liberator” is currently being used as the opening theme for the television anime Roll Over and Die. Its lyrics mirror the emotions of the series’ protagonist, Flum, while the song blends intense shouted vocals with a dramatic choir chorus to reflect the anime’s darker fantasy setting.
The accompanying music video was directed by Takuya Oyama of VANLI and presents a visually rich dark-fantasy concept. Through a mix of computer-generated imagery and visual effects, the video creates elaborate environments that complement the song’s intense tone and atmosphere.
Alongside the single’s release, PassCode has announced the “Liberator Release Tour 2026,” which will take the group to Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka. The band is also scheduled to perform at DEAD POP FESTiVAL 2026 on April 4 at the outdoor venue in Higashi-Ogishima East Park in Kawasaki.
With the 10th anniversary of PassCode’s debut approaching this October, the group is expected to reveal additional projects and activities in the coming months, giving fans more reasons to celebrate the milestone year.
